NKY Bank, Store Robbery Suspects Arrested in Cincinnati
The three suspects believed to have been involved in a pair of Northern Kentucky armed robbery attempts are now in police custody.
Cincinnati Police were tipped off that the three men were in the Mt. Auburn neighborhood and made the arrests.
Ft. Mitchell Police confirmed the arrests of Douglas W. Dyson, 38, of Channelview, Texas, Harley R. Platt, 34, of Highlands, Texas, and Dominique T. Knox, 23, of Indianapolis, Indiana.
All three are believed to have been involved in the robbery of the Central Bank on Dixie Highway in Ft. Mitchell last Thursday. Two of the men are also suspected of an armed robbery at the Circle K store in Dayton on Sunday morning.
The three were seen in Bellevue on Friday after being dropped off by a white vehicle that police later learned was an Uber ride-share.
In the Circle K robbery, when police arrived, a man was locked inside with a store clerk. That man identified himself to police as Ross Platt of La Porte, Texas, and no official identification on him. After Ft. Mitchell Police released images of the suspects from a bank robbery in that city, Platt was later identified as Harley Piatt of Highland, Texas.
The suspect in the Circle K robbery, who pulled a gun on the store clerk and demanded money was later identified as Dominique Knox, 23, of Indianapolis, who was also allegedly involved in the Ft. Mitchell robbery.
It was not immediately known which county jail the men would ultimately be placed in to face charges.
