Village Players Offer Free Show to Honor Patrons, Donors, Community

Village Players of Fort Thomas will welcome performer Tim Mooney for a special "patron appreciation night" performance.

It is set for Thursday, May 30 at 8 p.m. in the troupe's theater at 8 North Fort Thomas Avenue.

Village Players recently acquired the space, which it previously used as a tenant, from the Fort Thomas Women's Club. In a news release, the Village Players said it wanted to take an opportunity to thank its subscribers, donors, and community for ongoing support.

Mooney's performance is free to attend.

Every ticket will include entry into a raffle for a pair of 2019-20 season subscriptions.

Mooney is known for memorizing one monologue from every Shakespeare play in a production called Lot o' Shakespeare. It features thirty-eight monologues chosen at random by the spinning of a Bingo cage.

The performance is interactive with audience members playing along.

Tickets are available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis and can be reserved in advance by calling 859.781.3583.
