Suspect Sought After Firing Gun at Erlanger Officers

Erlanger Police and other local agencies are searching for a suspect who allegedly fired a gun at officers during a traffic stop.

According to reports, it was a Lakeside Park Police officer who was the alleged target.

Police said Thursday morning that a driver was stopped on Dixie Highway near Short Hill Lane by the Speedway gas station.

That driver allegedly pulled a gun and fired and then fled the scene.

Police are currently looking for him. They later identified him as Jacob Ray Julick, 27, of the Florence area. He has multiple other arrests according to Kenton County jail records, including charges related to burglary, theft, and drugs.

Photos of Julick have been released and are posted below.

Het is described as a white man wearing a red shirt and jeans with a tattoo on the left side of his neck, and a slight mustache.
