Master Provisions to Celebrate 25 Years of Service
Master Provisions will celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary of supporting the local and international community.
The Florence-based charitable group was founded in 1994, and now provides over four million pounds of food each year to people in need, while also clothing the poor, and taking care of at-risk children.
“I am excited to share with our community the progress we have made during our first twenty-five years, and where we are going in the future,” said Roger Babik, the organization’s founder and president. “We look forward to welcoming current and future supporters of Master Provisions.”
An event to note the anniversary is set for Saturday, June 22, at the Borland Family Distribution Center (7725 Foundation Drive, Florence). The lunch event is free and open to everyone, and starts at noon and runs to 4 p.m.
A living timeline of Master Provisions's work will be on display.
Each station in the timeline will feature different eras in the organization’s history, highlighting information about both its local and international work. “The event will provide guests a reflection on our past and leave them with an excitement for the future,” said Babik.
