Paper, Electronic Shredding Event Set for Saturday in Covington

Any Covington resident or business with a pile of old electronics or documents that need to be shredded can have that taken care of on Saturday.

The Center for Great Neighborhoods and Keep Covington Beautiful are teaming up for an electronic waste recycling and confidential document shredding drop-off event at Holmes High School.

Two professionally-certified recyclers will be on hand - Shred It and Cleanlites - to dispose of the items.

The event will take place in the Holmes High School (2500 Madison Ave., Covington) back parking lot on Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cars should enter the parking lot from Eastern Avenue.

This event is free and open to Covington residents and businesses.
