Man Accused of Stealing $30,000 from Crescent Springs Bakery

Robert Clem, the alleged suspect in the theft from Lupita's Bakery in Crescent Springs, was taken into custody in Warsaw, the Villa Hills Police Department announced, Further details were not available.
A man is accused of stealing more than $30,000 from a Crescent Springs bakery.
According to Villa Hills Police, which provides police service to Crescent Springs, the suspect was identified as Robert W. Clem.
He allegedly asked to clean the windows of Lupita's Bakery, located at the Buttermilk Crossing shopping center, for a small payment.
Clem allegedly entered the bakery and made off with a package that contained $30,590.25 in cash.
A warrant has been issued for Clem's arrest. Police said Clem has other arrest warrants that are outstanding.
Police added that Clem is believed to be in the area still and recently purchased a pickup truck and a Honda Accord.
