Braxton Celebrates Four Years with $5 Million Expansion, New Rooftop
Braxton Brewing Company will celebrate its fourth anniversary later this month along with a $5 million expansion that includes a new rooftop outdoor area.
The anniversary party and rooftop grand opening will take place on Saturday, July 20.
The 5,000-sq. ft. rooftop bar and increased production capacity will allow for the Covington brewery to produce up to 30,000 barrels and serve all of Tennessee and Ohio, in addition to Kentucky.
Braxton, which opened in 2015 and is named for the street in Boone County where the founding Rouse family lived together, also recently announced that it is opening a third location in Ft. Mitchell at the site of the former Remke grocery on Dixie Highway. It also operates in Newport next to the Party Source liquor store in Bellevue.
During the anniversary party and rooftop grand opening, all three floors of the brewery - including its second-floor event space - will be open to guests.
Braxton will also release Yesterday's Headlines Vol. 4, a special limited-release beer, during its party. The beer will celebrate four years of headlines about Braxton.
“The past four years have been the ride of a lifetime. We’ve built a brewery focused on innovation and approachability, without compromising who we are,” said Jake Rouse, CEO and co-founder of Braxton Brewing Company. “The addition of a rooftop bar at headquarters in Covington will take Braxton to new heights, and we can’t wait to share this experience with you on July 20th.”
