Thomas More Women Rank 2nd in NCAA Division III Home Attendance
Thomas More University finished the 2018-19 athletic season with the second-most attendance at home events across all NCAA Division III women's basketball programs.
In eleven games at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, the Saints attracted a total attendance of 9.384 for an average of 853 per game.
The Saints won the NCAA Division III championship in their final season at that level. Thomas More University moved its athletic program to NAIA on July 1.
Only Hope College, with its average of 954 fans in thirteen home games, had a higher number than TMU.
Thomas More also led the NCAA Division III in four statistical categories: scoring margin (+28.9), field goal percentage (51.8), free throw percentage (78.5), and win-loss percentage (100 - the team was undefeated).
This past season marked the fourth Final Four appearance in five years for the Saints women's basketball team.
Thomas More will compete in the Mid-South Conference of NAIA in the 2019-20 season.
