Florida Man Arrested for Sending Child Porn Image to Kenton Co. Man

A Florida man is behind bars charged with sending a pornographic image of a child to a man in Kenton County.

The Polk County (Florida) Sheriff's Office reported that detectives were contacted by the Kenton County Police Department's internet crimes against children unit regarding a local man who had received an image of child pornography through an online virtual role-playing game.

According to investigators, the image depicted Dylan Driggers, 26, of Auburndale, Florida, sexually assaulting a 4-year old child.

The Kenton County man who received the image said that it was unwanted and unsolicited, and that it had been sent through the online game "Second Life". He contacted Kenton County Police and said that the man who sent it to him claimed that it was him (Driggers) in the photo with a 4-year old child.

A Kenton County Police detective identified Driggers's online gaming information and through that, his address in Florida.

Polk County Sheriff's deputies interviewed Drigger, who, they say, confessed to appearing in the image with the child and to sending the image to a man in Kentucky.

Driggers was arrested and charged with use of a child in a sexual performance, promotion of child pornography, and capital sexual battery. All three charges are felonies in Florida.

“We thank the Kenton County Police Department and the man who reported receiving this disgusting photograph for taking swift action that led to this arrest. Our detectives did a great job quickly following up discovering the identity of this child molester and his victim," said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd. "We are further investigating to see if there are any more victims. We will do everything in our power to hold Dylan Driggers accountable for his repulsive, exploitative, and illegal acts. We are making sure that the child and the child’s family receive appropriate services.”
