This story has been updated with the man's identity.
A day after Ludlow Police reported the discovery of a body near Ludlow-Bromley Yacht Club, Covington Police report finding another body near the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge.
Police responded to that bridge just before 10 a.m. on Monday after receiving a report of a body in the Ohio River.
The U.S. Coast Guard and the Covington Fire Department assisted with retrieving the body.
Police said it was a black man in his late 40s or early 50s, approximately, and had no identification on him.
It was later determined that the man found in the water was the same referenced in a missing person's report over the weekend.
Covington Police identified the man as Vernon Edward Burks, 42, of Cincinnati.
