Kenton County Government Prepares for Move to New Building
The Kenton County government and various agencies within it will close on upcoming dates in order to move from 303 Court Street to 1840 Simon Kenton Way this month.
The county released the following details about closures:
Agencies closed on September 12:
Planning & Development Services (which is moving from Ft. Mitchell) will shutter its infrastructure engineering, GIS administration, building codes administration, and neighborhood codes administration offices; the fiscal court will close its administration, technology services, treasury and business services, and homeland security and emergency management officers.
Kenton County Attorney and Child Support offices will close, including criminal complaints, and guardian and involuntary hospitalizations offices; PDS and Kenton County fiscal court will close the same offices as on Sept. 12.
These offices will all open on Monday, September 16 at Simon Kenton Way.
Kenton Co. Property Valuation Administration will close its offices as will the Kenton County Sheriff's Office, the county clerk, and the commonwealth's attorney. These offices will also be closed on September 20.
Kenton County Clerk will close its automobile tag renewal and transfers, marriage license, voter registration, and vital records and genealogy information offices.
All agencies will open at Simon Kenton Way on Tuesday, September 24.
