Tri-ED Names New Director of Marketing

Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (Tri-ED) announced its new director of marketing.

Cheryl Besl joined the regional economic firm last week.

“Tri-ED is focused on creating economic opportunity in the region, Cheryl will lead our efforts to promote Northern Kentucky’s vibrant business climate among key stakeholders, such as site selector consultants and growing foreign and domestic companies,” said Lee Crume, Tri-ED President and CEO. “We value Cheryl’s passion for raising Northern Kentucky’s profile.”

Besl joins Tri-ED with experience in marketing and communications in both the public and private sectors. She most recently managed digital communications for the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority.

“Northern Kentucky’s cooperative approach to economic development has driven tremendous success for the region,” said Besl. “I’m excited to be part of the Tri-ED team, building a strong future and amplifying the region’s many assets.”

Besl is a graduate of Indiana University with degrees in marketing and Spanish.
