Latonia Man Sentenced for Social Security Card Possession, Identity Theft
A Latonia man who previously admitted to illegal possession of nine Social Security cards and aggravated identity theft was sentenced to 40 months in prison by U.S. District Court Judge David L. Bunning.
Jesse Bryant, 37, pleaded guilty to the charges in June.
According to his plea agreement, at the time the identification documents were discovered in the vehicle that Bryant was driving, law enforcement also discovered stolen credit cards and equipment used to make or alter stolen identification documents.
Under federal law, Bryant must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence and will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for three years.
The investigation was conducted by the United States Secret Service.
