Pumpkin Patch & Harvest Festival Hosted by Florence Freedom
The Florence Freedom are hosting a pumpkin patch and harvest festival each Saturday this month, and on Sunday, Oct. 27 at UC Health Stadium.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Saturday, thousands of pumpkins and corn stalks will be available along with activities for kids.
"This is part of our effort to be part of the community all year round," said Josh Anderson, vice president and general manager of the Florence freedom. "We have a fence set up, and we will have a Field of Dreams setting so people can come and pick out pumpkins and do all kinds of activities with that kind of setting."
On Sunday, Oct. 27, the hours will be from noon till 6 p.m.
The team ordered 3,000 pumpkins, 1,000 cornstalks, and has created a hay maze for children.
Other fun options for kids include a track-less train, a petting zoo, a circus show, and giant games. Inflatables, face-painting, magicians, and balloon artists will also be on site.
Fall treats like candy apples will be available.
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for kids, and $6 for high school and colleges students with proper identification. Admission includes a pumpkin to take home and all the activities involved.
Amazon will also be on site each day of the event hosting a job fair.
