NKY Business Named Finalists in BBB's Spark Awards

A business with multiple locations in Northern Kentucky was named a finalist at the Better Business Bureau's Spark Awards.

Kentucky Botanical Company was among nine finalists. Three other businesses were named winners.

The Spark Awards celebrates exceptional new businesses, startup founders, and young entrepreneurs, a news release said. 

Spark is a local BBB Center for Ethics initiative to support new business leaders that exemplify extraordinary character, intentional culture, and community-mindedness, a news release said. All of the 2019 winners and finalists—Kentucky Botanical Co. included—represent the bright future of our marketplace, and make our community proud, the BBB said in a news release.

“It was a privilege to get to know the team at Kentucky Botanical Co.,” said Jocile Ehrlich, president and CEO of BBB Cincinnati. “The strength of their commitment to building a business with character is truly inspirational. It’s an honor to celebrate them, along with the entire 2019 Class of Spark Winners and Finalists.” 

“We are very proud to have been honored by the BBB of Cincinnati. The Spark Class of 2019 was filled with some amazing entrepreneurs and we are so lucky to be a part of this group,” said Christain Perry-Watt, one of the owners of Kentucky Botanical Co.

Kentucky Botanical Co. operates in Bellevue, Cold Spring, Williamstown, and Ludlow.
