Winter Weather Advisory for Northern Kentucky
The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio has issued a winter weather advisory for all of Northern Kentucky through 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Snow accumulations of between one and three inches are expected late Monday night into Tuesday, after a mix of rain and snow.
Falling temperatures are expected to exacerbate the situation, particularly for commuters on Tuesday morning. The NWS warns of slippery road conditions.
Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution.
The overnight low into Tuesday is expected to drop to 19 degrees.
Tuesday's high temperature is forecasted only to be around 27 degrees.
Isolated snow showers are predicted through Tuesday afternoon.
Conditions improve on Wednesday with partly sunny skies and a high near 34.
The forecast calls for partly sunny skies on Thursday with a high near 43.
Skies are expected to be sunny on Friday when the high temperature is forecasted to be 44.
No precipitation is forecast for Saturday or Sunday when high temperatures are expected to reach the low 50s.
