River City Holiday: East Row Christmas Walk, Light Up Ludlow/Bromley

The cities of Ludlow and Bromley are teaming up for a Christmas event on Saturday, December 7.

Light Up Ludlow and Bromley features a lighted Christmas parade with performances at the Ludlow city building afterwards. 

Local businesses will stay open late and there will be photos with Santa Claus.

Following the parade, Ludlow Tavern will host the Ludlow Christmas Pajama Crawl which will include the tavern, Buffalo Bar, Taste on Elm, Second Sight Spirits, Bircus Brewing, and the Ludlow Saloon.

Bar Crawl Passports can be purchased at participating business for $5, or three for $12. Passports can be turned in at end of crawl for a chance to win prizes.

Proceeds from the sale of Bar Crawl Passport will support the Vets Memorial Fund.

The parade starts at 5 p.m.

In Newport, the East Row neighborhood is hosting its annual Victorian Christmas Tour.

The 25th annual tour runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday December 8 in the historic neighborhood. 

The self-guided walking tour takes visitos through a variety of Italianate, Queen Anne, and other styles of homes decorated for the holidays.

Some of the homes will also show off new interior renovations.

Local choirs will perform both days.

Tour tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased here or day-of tickets can be bought at 415 East 8th Street in Newport.
