Lincoln Grant Scholarship Website Launches
The Lincoln William Grant Scholarship Foundation announced the launch of a new website.
The foundation wanted to highlight a number of scholarships available. The new website can be seen here.
Lincoln William Grant School was the Covington school that served African-American students during segregation.
“Providing scholarships is a crucial element for connecting with our community, leading to changing the narrative around challenges facing all of us,” said Rev. Richard Fowler, the foundation's treasurer, and a graduate of the school, which is now home to Lincoln Grant Scholar House. “Our redesigned website gives us the ability to share our scholarship opportunities in a meaningful way and uplift the impactful work our nonprofit partners and community members are accomplishing.”
The website was designed by Covington-based SparkLight Creative Group, which is operated by K.A. Simpson, an RCN contributor.
“Storytelling was the main focus of our web design for the Lincoln William Grant Scholarship Foundation,” said Simpson. “We wanted to showcase all of the great work the organization does while enhancing the functionality of the site. Our goal is to help communicate their mission to a wider audience and grow their supporter base.”
