Newport Office Building Illuminated in Green for COVID-19 Victims
One Riverfront Place in Newport was illuminated in green on Tuesday night in honor of those who have succumbed to COVID-19.
Cincy Illuminations, owned and operated by Newport resident Scott Budd, produced the light show, just as it did weeks earlier at the Kenton County government building in Covington.
One Riverfront Place is located near Newport on the Levee on Dave Cowens Drive.
Recently, Governor Andy Beshear encouraged all Kentuckians to light their homes and businesses in green as a display of unity and commitment to defeating COVID-19.
Cincy Illuminations is currently providing “Go Green” lighting at the Kenton County Government building in Covington on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at approximately 9:00pm (dusk).
The “Go Green” lighting presentations are free to see. Drive-by is recommended.
Remember to practice social distancing and wear face masks when out in public – whatever the reason or event.
