NKU Looks to Kent State After Comeback Falls Short at Dayton
Northern Kentucky fell to 2-2 on the season after a late fell short at Dayton on Tuesday night.
The Norse fell to the Flyers (2-1) 66-60.
Trevon Faulkner led NKU with 15 points while Trey Robinson scored 13 and Bryson Langdon added 11.
Dayton used a 13-0 run in the second half to build a lead that Northern Kentucky could not overcome.
A 7-1 stretch by the Norse pulled NKU with four at 64-60 with 43 seconds remaining, but Dayton added a pair of free throws to build the final score.
NKU forced a season-high 22 turnovers in the loss.
The Norse travel to Kent State on Sunday for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
