Kenton County Attorney Named President of State Association
Kenton County Attorney Stacy Tapke was named president of the Kentucky County Attorneys Association (KCAA).
Her two-year term begins in January.
Tapke is currently the statewide organization's vice president.
KCAA was created to promote cooperation among county attorneys across the state.
Tapke has served on the board of directors for four years.
"It is truly an honor and a privilege to be elected by my peers to lead the KCAA over the next 2 years,” Tapke said in a news release. “I am joined by an incredibly talented board of directors who represent all parts of the Commonwealth. I appreciate how my fellow county attorneys always join together in a non-partisan manner to do what is in the best interest of justice and our local communities.”
Tapke, the first woman elected as Kenton County Attorney, is in her second term.
