Women's Basketball: Thomas More Takes Down #1 Campbellsville

The Thomas More women's basketball team beat the top-ranked team in the country on Monday night, with a 65-55 win over Campbellsville.

The Saints are now 19-1 overall and 14-1 in the Mid-South Conference.

Thomas More was led by Zoie Barth and Taylor Clos who each scored 11, and Alexah Chrisman who put in 10.

The Saints trailed at halftime, 26-24, but managed to put some distance between them and Campbellsville in the final quarter. Clos made two late free throws to seal the final score.

The women's team is back in action on Thursday when Cumberlands visits Crestview Hills at 5:30 p.m.

Men's team beats Cumberland (Tenn.)

The #20-ranked Thomas More Saints were also victorious in men's action on Monday, beating Cumberland (Tenn.), 70-54.

The Saints are now 12-4 overall and 10-4 in the Mid-South.

Reid Jolly led TMU with 26 points while Ryan Batte added 23. Luke Rudy scored 11.

Thomas More plays again on Thursday when Cumberlands visits Crestview Hills at 8 p.m.
