Florence Y'alls Return to Action Memorial Day Weekend
The Florence Y'alls return to the home field on Memorial Day weekend, with a three-game series against the Southern Illinois Miners kicking off on May 29.
That series is immediately followed by a visit from the Lake Erie Crushers.
The season begins for the Frontier League team on May 27 for a two-game road stint against Gateway.
Last year, the Frontier League season was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Y'alls played in a small four-team league involving two Florence squads and two Lexington squads.
“Last year, we showed the community that we could safely play baseball in front of fans,” said Florence Y’alls President David DelBello. “Now, it’s time to take it a step further and have our inaugural season in the Frontier League as the Florence Y’alls.”
This year, the team hopes to see fans return to UC Health Stadium.
The 96-game schedule will feature eight Thirsty Thursdays, seven Firework Fridays and eight Rockin’ Saturdays.
The full promotional schedule will be released on April 1 along with other giveaway announcements, appearances, theme nights, and concession specials.
Tickets for Y'alls games go one sale that day as well.
“We have some amazing promotional nights planned,” said Director of Fan Communications Hannah Siefert. “2020 didn’t turn out exactly the way we planned, so it is time to have as much fun as we can in 2021!”
Meanwhile, season tickets, mini-plans, and Club Y'allers memberships are on sale now at the team's website.
The full schedule is also available there.
