TMU's Barth Named All-American by Coaches Association
Thomas More basketball sophomore guard Zoie Barth was named as part of the ten-member Coaches' All-America team.
The teams are made up of players selected by Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WCBA) member coaches in that division.
Barth currently sits 23rd in the NAIA in total steals with 64, and 37th in total assists with 91. S
he leads the number one team in the nation in points per game (13.29), assists per game (3.35), and steals per game (2.29).
Barth won a Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award on December 30 after scoring 22 in an overtime win at Shawnee State as well as being named to the Academic All-Conference team.
Barth has helped lead the Saints to a 28-1 record and a number one overall seed in the NAIA National Tournament.
Up until this point Barth has averaged 14 points per game throughout the national tournament with games still to be played as Thomas More plays Morningside this evening in the national semifinals.
The Saints are the top-ranked team in the country and the top-seed in the tournament.
Barth is a graduate of Highlands High School.
