Florence Y'alls Announce 2021 Promotional Plans

The Florence Y'alls announced its 2021 season promotional schedule and that individual tickets are on sale.

This year will mark the first true season since the Florence Freedom re-branded as the Y'alls in 2020. Last year's Frontier League season was scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic, so the Y'alls played against a split squad team from Florence, which used the former Freedom moniker, as well as two teams tied to the Lexington Legends.

The season kicks off against the Southern Illinois Miners on Saturday, May 29, Memorial Day weekend, which will include a fireworks show and band. Former Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo is the featured guest at UC Health Stadium and his band will play on Sunday, and he will also sign autographs.

Kids Opening Day will be celebrated on Monday, May 31.

Tickets are on sale for $10 when bought in advance, or $14 for the VIP section which includes a coupon for a free value meal from McDonald's.

Other promotions planned for the upcoming season include Bark in the Park, Baseball Brew Fest, Princess Night, and Dudes and Daughters Dance.

The Y'alls have partnered with Marvel for Super Hero days at the ballpark. Two such dates are scheduled for Friday, July 23 and Friday, August 27 and will feature a Thanos bobblehead and an Ironman bobblehead, respectively.

Fans will see new promotions added to the schedule such as 80s and 90s Night, Y’alls Olympics, Healthcare Appreciation Night, and Prom Night.

The Y'alls will also belatedly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Negro League on July 8, with a Satchel Page bobblehead.

Weekly promotions make a return with Thirsty Thursday, Firework Friday, Rockin’ Saturday, and Family Sunday. The Y’alls add $2 Tuesday to the list with $2 tickets and $2 deals at the concession stands.
