Covington Theatre Artists Return to Cincy Fringe with "Away, Now"
A pair of Covington theatre artists return to this year's Cincinnati Fringe Festival with a new creation.
Away, Now - The World's Most Dangerous Destination is described as a show packed with delightful songs, bizarre puppetry, and absurd travel tips.
Paul Strickland and Erika Kate MacDonald previously co-produced Paul & Erika's House Show as part of the virtual Fringe last year.
The new two-person comedy is a sixty-minute variety show which will be available online on demand throughout the Cincinnati Fringe Festival.
It features an exploration of "the world's most desired destination": Away, Now. The show includes a musical dance number in masks made out of shopping bags, a broken-hearted song cycle with guitar and turtle, and toy theater performed entirely in a suitcase.
Tickets are $10 plus a $1 ticketing fee (there are multi-show passes available). A ticket allows the show to be watched at any time from June 4 through June 19. For tickets, click: https://cincyfringe.com/away-n
