Watch: Singing Principal in Florence Takes on Taylor Swift

Over the past couple weeks of rough winter weather, a celebrity has emerged in Florence.

Chad Caddell is principal at Union Pointe Academy and he gained national attention with a video released on January 8 announcing that school would be closed due to inclement weather. His parody of Mariah Carey's "Hero" was viewed more than 630,000 times on Facebook.

A January 11 announcement used Garth Brooks's "Friends in Low Places" and was watched more than 241,000 times.

On Tuesday, Caddell returned to social media, this time singing to Taylor Swift's "Blank Space". By 6 a.m., the closure announcement sing-along had been watched 70,000 times.
