Two from Northern Kentucky Appointed by Governor to Boards
Two Northern Kentucky residents received appointments to state boards from Governor Matt Bevin.
Sandra Lynn, of Independence, was appointed to the Kentucky Child Care Advisory Council.
She is an early childhood education specialist and currently serves as the team lead for 4C for Children. Lynn will represent the private sector on the board and serve through June 24, 2018.
The Kentucky Child Care Advisory Council shall advise the Cabinet on matters affecting the operations, funding, and licensing of child-care centers and family child-care homes. The Council shall provide input and recommendations for ways to improve quality, access, and outcomes.
Louis R. Hill, of Walton, was appointed to the Geographic Information Advisory Council.
He is a GIS analyst who will represent the Kentucky Chapter of the American Planning Association. Hill will serve a term through September 22, 2021.
The Geographic Information Advisory Council advises the executive director of the Commonwealth Office of Technology on issues relating to geographic information and geographic information systems and the council establishes and adopts policies and procedures that assist state and local jurisdictions in developing, deploying, and leveraging geographic information resources and geographic information systems technology for the purpose of improving public administration.
