NKY Cities Claim 8 of Top 10 Spots Among Kentucky's Healthiest Housing Market
Northern Kentucky cities are well=represented in an analysis of the local housing market.
Financial technology firm SmartAsset compiled the top ten healthiest real estate markets in the state by looking at the number of years that residents spend in a home, home values, ease of sales, and the costs associated with home ownership.
Edgewood came in at the top of the list with a score of 96.23. Residents spend an average of 19.5 years in their homes, and houses spend about 23 days on the market when put up for sale.
Erlanger claimed the number-two spot.
Other NKY cities on the top ten list: Independence (4), Bellevue (5), Fort Thomas (6), Florence (7), Newport (8), and Dayton (10).
Wilmore (2) and Georgetown (9) were the other Kentucky cities in the top ten.
