Covington Man Arrested in Southern Kentucky After Chase in Stolen Truck
A Covington man was arrested after a high-speed chase in southern Kentucky.
Jason Lay, 45, was booked into the Laurel County Detention Center in London after attempting to elude police in a chase that reached 100 miles per hour.
Officers had attempted to pull over Lay for speeding but he sped away in a Ford Explorer that was stolen in Boone County.
Lay faces twelve charges including wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, and speeding. He is slated to appear in court Friday morning.
