Boone County's Jesse Brewer Wins National Recognition for Excellence in Renting
Boone County businessman, and Republican nominee for Boone County Commissioner, Jesse Brewer received the National Apartment Association's (NAA) Independent Renter Owners Excellence Award on June 16 at its annual meeting in San Diego, Calif.
“I am humbled and honored to receive this award from my business colleagues across the country," Brewer said. "I have worked very hard to improve the quality of life for the people who live in the apartments I own and those I manage for others."
"This award recognizes that by working collaboratively in the community we can all make a difference in the lives of others," Brewer continued. "When we do that, we can all be proud of our collective achievements.”
In making the announcement the NAA selection committee highlighted Brewer’s involvement with local politics as well as Brewer's “Landlord Santa” program, which partners with local, regional, and national businesses, to take under-privileged children shopping during the Christmas holiday season for coats, hats and gloves.
Brewer is the first person from the Greater Cincinnati region to receive the Independent Renter Owners Excellence Award for the stewardship of his Covington, Ky. firm: Cincy Area Properties. Recipients are chosen for their ongoing implementation of a successful business model and demonstrated leadership in innovative and sustainable community building exercises.
