Bevin Reappoints Boehne to NKU Regents, Finan & Van Allen to KCTCS Board
Governor Matt Bevin appointed three people from Northern Kentucky to post-secondary education boards.
Rich Boehne was reappointed to the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents.
The NKU alumnus has served as chairman of the board in recent years, including during the search that landed new president Ashish Vaidya.
In 2016, Boehne donated $1 million to the university. His new term on the board of regents will be through June 30, 2024.
Bevin also appointed Karen Finan and Damon Van Allen to the Kentucky Community & Technical College Board of Regents.
Finan, of Ft. Mitchell, is president and CEO of the Northern Kentucky Regional Alliance. Van Allen, of Covington, is senior vice president and community investment officer at Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati.
Both will serve through July 21, 2024.
