Two from NKY Appointed to State Boards by Bevin
Two Northern Kentucky residents were appointed to state boards by Governor Matt Bevin.
Donald Kiely, of Villa Hills, was appointed to the Kentucky 911 Services Board.
The board reviews, evaluates, and develops standards and decides on plans of modications to the E911 service requirements established by the Federal Communication Commission. The board is also responsible for collecting and regulating service charges for commercial mobile radio connections.
Kiely is an emergency services manager for Cincinnati Bell. His term will expire on July 15, 2020.
Mary Kathy Forelicher, of Florence, was appointed to the Kentucky Board of Ophthamic Dispensers.
The board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of phthalmic dispensing, recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality, conducts formal hearings when necessary, and prosecutes by due process any violators of the related state statute.
Froelicher is a licensed optician. Her term will expire on June 30, 2022.
