Unemployment in Campbell, Boone, and Kenton Counties Lowest in State
Only one county in the state has a lower unemployment rate than Campbell, Boone, and Kenton.
The Commonwealth of Kentucky released its latest seasonally adjusted unemployment figures on Thursday.
The rate fell in 110 counties and rose in 10.
Woodford County recorded the lowest jobless rate at 3.5 percent. It was followed by Campbell County at 3.6 percent, and Boone and Kenton counties at 3.7 percent each. Fayette, Oldham, and Scott counties came in at 3.8 percent each.
Magoffin County recorded the state’s highest unemployment rate at 13.8 percent.
