The lots at the new Mercedes-Benz dealership in Ft. Mitchell will begin to fill with vehicles on Monday.
The first shipment includes Sprinter vans and the new 2014 CLA 250 (pictured), making Ft. Mitchell the first dealership in the region to offer the more affordable model in the luxury line.
The dealership opens on October 1.
For eight months, Fort Mitchell residents and travelers along I-75 have watched the fast progress of the dealership rising out of the rubble of the demolished USA Hotel that was an eyesore to the community for years. Training of the staff has been ongoing for months and the arrival of the vehicles is the final step before opening the doors to the public.
“We have been preparing for the best supply of new Mercedes-Benz vehicles based upon anticipated demand,” said Mercedes-Benz Fort Mitchell Managing Partner, Don Paparella, in a news release. “Customers are already lining up. We have had numerous calls, inquiries and commitments for specific models. In fact, the first 101 customers will have their name etched in granite at our front door to the showroom."
Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell will have state-of-the-art features including a 30’ ceiling to floor
waterfall and a putting green. Grand opening Express Service specials will be offered to current
Mercedes-Benz car owners.
Residents are invited to stop by and say hello as the Fort Mitchell team gears up for a long, successful presence in the City of Fort Mitchell. The grand opening ribbon cutting/flag raising ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on October 4, 2013.
Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell is owned by Bernie Moreno of Collection Auto Group headquartered near Cleveland Ohio, and it will employ approximately 70 employees and provide significant tax revenues for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the City of Fort Mitchell and Beechwood Independent School District.
