Longtime Kenton County Public Servant Dies Suddenly
The Kenton County community was stunned to learn late Tuesday that a longtime public servant passed away suddenly.
Roger Wells was just four weeks into his retirement from his role as fleet director and solid waste coordinator for Kenton County. His service also included work as a detective with the Kenton County Commonwealth's Attorney Office and as a special deputy with the Kenton County Sheriff's Department.
Wells suffered a heart attack Tuesday and died.
The River City News offers its condolences to the Wells family and Roger's many friends throughout Northern Kentucky.
More details on services will be posted when they are known.
