Motorists Get Assistance, Arrested

If your car runs into some trouble and the Kentucky State Police stop to help you, it's best to make sure that your stash of weed isn't in the vehicle, too. That's what happened to three men in Hickory, Kentucky as described in this news release from the KSP:

Kentucky State Police Troopers Brian Hill and Jody Cash were traveling east on Interstate 24 when they stopped for a motorist-assist at mile marker 15. While assisting, Troopers determined the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of illegal drugs. Based on their investigation, Brian T. Nabb was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance not in Proper Container and Possession of a Legend Drug. Kentucky State Police also arrested Danny Shreves who was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The third occupant of the vehicle, Mathew Little, was also arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Possession of Controlled Substance not in Proper Container. All three subjects were lodged at the McCracken County Jail and the investigation continues by Kentucky State Police. The Kentucky State Police was assisted by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department.
